Gose is an old German beer styles originated in the small town of Goslar and gained popularity in Leipzig.
This is an unfiltered wheat beer made with 50-60% grain bill malted wheat, 40% barley, and a dash of oats.
This beer style is cloudy yellow in color, with refreshing crispness and dominant flavors including a lemon sourness, an herbal characteristic. Coriander and salt are added during (or after) the boil in order to create a fuller mouth-feel and added complexity
It will have a low hop bitterness, and a complementary dryness and spice from the use of ground coriander seeds and a sharpness from the addition of salt.
